Just so you guys do not think I am being paranoid, I took a picture of those little buggers after spraying them with insecticide. Imagine my horror when I saw them straying out into the living room. They were zooming in on princess's shoes. She must have stepped on stuff in school.
Decided to post a tiny picture of it so you won't get disgusted or let it affect your dinner. He he.
This is the worst it's ever been, never have so many ants come together to attack.
I guess the cleaner heard the desperation in my voice and agreed to come early tomorrow morning to help me out. So, another busy cleaning day for me tomorrow.

You need to destroy the nest first! I had a similar problem, but the ant nest came from my neighbour (yes, we got "visitors"). Solved the problem with Combat Ant Killer. Ants will bring back 'food' to nest. Good luck.
Yes, I know. But was seriously overwhelming, looking at the whole army of them. Had to spray them no choice. Have put some ant bait last night. Hope it works.
Haha you'd better not come to my house then. I have ants for sure (they were crawling all over my books during Italian class the other day - and I've gotten a Baygon trap so that they could go contaminate their nest), loads of spiders, mosquitoes, flies, wasps and even scorpions. I've also at least a mouse somewhere, not to mention pigeons, woodpeckers, magpies and what not outside. I've given up freaking out and nowadays I just exterminate.
Oh hi beau lotus, thanks for dropping by.
I was just reading your blog and came across about the mouse haha. Italy is such a nice place to be in. Haha, ya but here we live in a tiny flat and it doesn't take a lot for them to go around.
oh dear... the ants look bad..no wonder you are freaking out i would too.Hope the cleaning lady can help you get rid of them.
Well, fingers crossed, I hope so too.
