A happy meal

Hurray! Camy is home! And guess what? The service centre says that there was nothing wrong with it?! It's really very weird. All this while it prompts me that I need to change the battery pack even though I had just charged the battery for hours before using. But after a week of testing they couldn't find any fault with it. And the best part is that throughout its stay in 'hospital', it behaved itself very well, so much so I feel so dumb to have sent it in! I don't know of a name for this kind of syndrome. Or maybe it's just me who experiences such things, but I have many a time gone to the doctor and felt better in the clinic just waiting for my turn, and also when I used to have problems with my pc, the minute the engineer arrives to check on it, it suddenly decides to behave itself, or the airconditioner can be rumbling all night long but when the technician comes the next morning to check on it, it suddenly becomes all quiet.

Oh well, now I just hope that it will behave itself during my trip.

For dinner some evenings, I would buy ready food from the coffee shop near my place and just cook rice. I somehow do not like the plain rice that they sell at most 'mixed rice' stalls as the grade of rice used is not that good, and besides, when they cook a big quantity, sometimes they turn out too soggy. I love rice grains which are firm.

After being out the whole afternoon, I came home rather tired out yesterday and bought a few dishes. Boiled a sausage for princess and made her a happy meal. It's kind of ugly I have to say, hahaha, with the mega big sausage mouth, but I did what I could and she was happy with it. The garlic bratwurst was rather huge for her and she only managed a quarter of it. The purpose was just to beautify the 'face'. ;)

hi
I experience the same problem with my digital camera, like running out of power when I have just charged it.

so now I just charged it daily instead of looking at the meter to check that it's low on power.

nothing like those good old camera huh ...

daphne - Hahaha! Funny girl. I hope to post more but see what I can do. ;)

sweet jasmine - Oh really, you too? But I won't use non original, I don't want to risk getting my cam spoiled.

Rita - Those are made from seaweed yes. You might be able get them in HKG Sanrio shops, Vivitix, whatever.

Hope the camera is feeling better now...LOVE yur happy meal...makes me wish I was a kid again!! Re the comment on the mango ice-cream...no, isn't too sweet at all because of the cream. Also there is no added sugar. Actually, earlier they used to simmer the milk for long to reduce the quantity. Condensed milk just makes life easier & saves time. Great to see you after so long...love Deeba
