The tooth fairy visits

While we were out shopping yesterday, the tooth came out. Just as well, as she couldn't eat anything much for lunch except for soup and bread. She was complaining that her gum was hurting. It's a real novelty to her and she feels excited about the missing tooth. Well, there's more to come. Haha.
Before she went to bed last evening, we washed out the tooth and put it in a cute little pouch for the fairy. I bought this pouch when she was very little and just can't believe, in the blink of an eye, she's already all grown up and the pouch has come in handy.

A little gift from the fairy. She was all happy this morning when she checked that the fairy had taken the tooth, but she didn't leave any money! Told her to look on the back and sure enough, there was a little gift. She was delighted and said, 'I got my own money.' :)

Ahhh... the first time the tooth fairy visited Cookalot, she left 10euros under the pillow. Completely spoilt the market, thanks to Dad.

Is that a molar design on the pouch? It's too cute!

Ai Duchess, there was approx 2 half euros in ours. Haha, 10 euros is way too much huh? And it's not just one tooth we're talking about hahaha. Ya, it's a molar. Cute, right?

Yes, that's what I told Hubs. For 10 euros a pop, I'm going to start pulling my own teeth too. Anyway, for subsequent teeth, Sonny-boy received 5 euros. And that son of mine.... he wanted to recycle his fallen teeth under his pillow so that the tooth fairy will keep giving him money. Oi.

Peony - Hahaha, yup, that's cute - Chinese tooth fairy.

Cranberry - Thanks. :)

Paw Paw - Ya, hehe, is exciting. I honestly cannot remember where. It was years ago I got it. Sorry.

Duchess - ROFL. You are a real clown, you know that? So funny sonny-boy is. But that's also very clever of him. :)

Got to do like that ah if a tooth came out. As I know when I am young, if my tooth came out my Ah Mah ask us to throw to the rooftop and that is what I did whenever my tooth came out.

Nice rosy cheeks she has your Princess and I did a double take when I saw the pic as I couldn't believe how much she has grown since that baby pic of hers at the top of your blog!

Every bit of our kids' precious, so teeth do tend to fetch good prices nowadays ah.

Hehe thanks beau. Ah the other pic was when she was 6mths old. She's 5 coming on 6. Should be about your little boy's age. Hahaha, ya man, she's telling every tom, dick, harry about the tooth fairy and how much she got.
