Egg moulds and Mee Rebus

Mum got me these egg moulds a few days back. Little girl is not into hard boiled eggs but I should be able to find some use for them. I saw them in Daiso too, but mum didn't get them from there. She got them at OG.

Other than the morning, the rest of today was good. Princess got a lift to class with a classmate, XR, whose mum came to borrow some stuff from me. Thanks B, for giving her a lift.

Then after class, hubby picked her up and together they went for dinner. This is what they brought back for mine - mee rebus. There is a stall in the basement food court of Parkway Parade and they specialise in Mee Siam and Mee Rebus. They serve them in such huge portions, a normal person won't be able to finish all of it and it can be shared among 3 small eaters at least. I have not had it in ages and just felt like having some today. But of course, I couldn't eat the entire portion... Notice it's missing all the green garnish and green chilli? Well, I don't like those. ;)

ya, i would say the egg mould is quite versatile, not confined to eggs only :)

Yes, Daphne, the stall is quite well-known. They have a very good chinchow for dessert, served like tau huay, not cut or grated to make into a drink. They also have curry with bread or rice. Try it next time you're there. And yes, you can have all the green chilli etc. ;) I think it's real value for money but you got to share it or it's wasted, too big a portion.

Choo, yes, it sure is.

debra - Ah, I don't eat much you tiao, it's too oily. But once I had the porridge there and I love porridge with you tiao so I got one. It's not bad. Wah! 10 pcs! That's too many! It's for all at home, I hope. ;)

bozo - Hahaha, I don't like garnishes - parsley, wan sui, spring onions. I will only eat green part of spring onion and only if sliced thinly but not the white part. Hehe.

east meets west kitchen - Oh, really, did you frequent it too?

hkchoo - Jungle, shrubs, whatever. Haha. Not smell, don't like taste. But you know what? My girl on the other hand, commented once at supermarket - hmmm... smells nice.. to some chinese parsley or spring onions hahaha. I still introduce food stuffs that I don't like to her. Don't want her to be biased in her taste.

cranberry - Oh yes, nice moulds. Yes, come to Parkway. Haha. The chin chow is very good, right?

paw paw - Ah, you are an Eastern girl. Hehe, you can have all my garnishes.

trevshanhann - I have not tried the curry yet.
