CNY Bake 1 - Pineapple Tarts

My very first Chinese New Year bake. Yippee! I did it! Have been procrastinating for months. I owe these tarts to my dear little princess, hehe, finally satisfying her craving from Hari Raya Puasa. Haha. Sorry babe. But somehow CNY just puts you in the mood to bake pineapple tarts, not other times of the year.

Actually I've been wanting to use this mould since I first got it. I love the heart shape. So unusual, don't you think? Better still, Valentine's day ties in with CNY so that's like killing two birds with one stone. Made with love for you my dear princess. Needless to say, she's already gobbled up a few while they were cooling down.

sue sue - Aiyah just send the kids to Ah Ma's house or to aunt's house to play Wii haha, so you'll have free time to make them. ;)
