From her home to mine. Thanks so much to the giver for the kind thought. I do appreciate it. But that was sneaky, although my first guess was that it was from you. :P My girl loves it. She says it is yummy, said she preferred it to the pineapple tarts. Haha. I think she loves crunchy stuff. But after that she changed her mind and said she love both, because she loves the pineapple jam on the top. ;)
Coincidentally this is the next biscuit after the tarts that I plan to make. Hope I have the energy to do it this week.
Went to do CNY shopping today, mainly for gifts for the family, aunts etc. It wasn't planned, but I managed to spy some lovely and very presentable gift boxes while browsing in the supermarket. Quite pleased with the stuff I got this year. Decided not to buy any baked goods as I'm sure there will be abundance in every home. Might bake some to give away though.
How are your New Year preparations coming along? The countdown begins... it's another week to go. Me? I'm just glad that my cleaner is scheduled to come the day before reunion night. ;)

Wah, looks like you are in the mood for CNY. Me :( still haven't start doing any shopping. Both kids are sick and myself down with flu and sore throat. Must be too much mandarin oranges.
we might head to one of his uncle's place for dinner. but CNY in Perth-as u know from Sharon is that it's really quiet.
I did buy some yu sheng ingredients, so might invite some friends over a couple of days before.
Looks and sounds like CNY is a very big celebration! Being from Canada, I don't know much about it, but I am looking forward to learning more.
hic hic... sneaky parcel LOL
now u know who....
karlsfoodie - I very smart one... first guess right? ;)
wah, so smart, deserve another parcel then? muahahhah....what gave the clue away manz?!?
I only know three people between us. One of them highly impossible, and I only know one of them highly possible. Haha. And the third one was standby guess. Hahaha.
hk choo - Ah ya lor, deserve another parcel hor?
sue sue - Ai! Stop eating those oranges lah! I haven't bought mine cos if they're lying there my girl will also want. I also only start picking up some stuff yesterday but otherwise haven't bought anything else.
daphne - That's nice to have family there to celebrate with. I'm not great fan of Yu Sheng but it's a must for CNY, where Singaporeans are concerned.
jori - Yes, it is, to the Chinese. Go visit more blogs in my links and you will get more ideas. :) CNY is on 6th Feb this year. It falls on a different date every year, according to the Lunar calendar, just like the Muslim's Hari Raya.
Walio...... you are in the 4 gear mood for this coming celebration!
big boys oven - Where got 4th gear? Haha. Still got lots to do in the house.
