I made this yesterday to take with us to ballet class. Class is very late now and ends after 1pm. We usually have lunch around 2pm on Saturdays. I know that princess loves to watch the older grades having their classes so decided to pack her this sandwich bento with panini given by her godpa. I made her a ham and cheese sandwich using shaved apple ham & sliced cheddar. That way she can eat them in class after her lesson. I chanced upon the little anpan choco, the little snack on the left of the cherry tomatoes and strawberries, while out at the supermarket with KY. I love them as they are like little buns with a soft texture. I've never come across a snack in a box that is not crispy in nature. Unfortunately I threw out the box. Will take a pic of it next time. They taste pretty nice. Again using my cherry pink bento. :)

I love the pretty ties on the bread. I got them too but don't know where they r now. Maybe in some hidden corners of my suitcases or cupboards.
where do u got yours? so I can buy again ma, if they r sold here, hehehe.
Wow...gr8 to put your pinkie sandwich box to good use :)
A marvellous idea to wrap up the sandwich as well, as I think our weather will dry out the bread.
Peony - Haha, you have too many things. I know what you mean, I sometimes 'lose' my stuff too. I got them at where else but Daiso! :P Good luck finding them on your next trip there.
HK Choo - Oh yes, wrapping sandwich idea I got from bento book cos so cute to do so. :) Er, I didn't think about humidity part lol.
I got mine in Japan, one of the 100yen shops, not Daiso tho.
ya, I had been looking for these ties here (since past few days) but can't find pretty ones. So quite coincidence saw ur post.
aiya, things in Daiso here got out-of-stock pretty fast, heehee.
Cute lah! Over here, not the the bread needs to be wrapped, the rice ball too. If not, the rice would turned hard.
peony - I can't remember which section of Daiso now, but maybe you could try stationery?
lcom - Oh ya, cos of the dry climate?
Hi SIG, thks for yr comment lately!

yr princess sounds very enthusiastic abt her ballet lesson...good that she enjoys it!! so weekend is all abt her classes & more bento too, hahaha!!

I like those ribbons too! I only found those gold ones used by the bread shops which I bought from the baking supplies shop... so uninteresting hor?
Jacss - Hi, welcome. I did have a problem with one particular blog I used to visit, but it's ok now. Well, anyway, thanks for visiting and dropping a comment. Oh yes, she likes to go early to class these days and join in the earlier younger classes and 'kapo' as the assistant to the teacher. Haha.
Angeleyes - Oh ya, those are twist ties. I'll look out for them next time I'm in Daiso.
